This is the story of how a Belfast boy (Ken Fanning, a.k.a the Michael Flatley of the air) and a Swedish girl (Tina Segner, complete with allen keys and instruction manual) met in Dublin the 90’s and fell in and out of love.
Comedy circus with a theatrical narrative, the show is contemporary and flexible with a broad audience appeal. Through slap- stick acrobatics, hazardous aerial tricks and flying hula-hoops, Fanning and Segner take a hilarious and nostalgic look at their life together since their unlikely pairing over fifteen years ago.
‘This is what we do for a living’ explores how relationships can fall apart, how they land on their feet, and how they survive. Peeling back the canvas, Tumble Circus reveal the truly human side of the circus. No fanfare or sequins, quite simply the extraordinary skill and passion of two carnies on a life-long adventure.
