This is what we do for a living

This is what happens when circus performers tell the story of a Belfast boy (Ken Fanning a.k.a the Michael Flatley of the air) and a Swedish girl (Tina Segner, complete with allan keys and instruction manual) who fall in and out of love.

‘This is what we do for a living’, is circus of the absurd, it’s funny and flexible with great comic timing and even better gymnastic flair. Through slap- stick acrobatics, hazardous aerial tricks and flying hula-hoops, Fanning and Segner take an absurd look at their life together since their unlikely pairing back in the mid 1990’s in Dublin.

‘This is what we do for a living’, explores how relationships can fall apart, how they land on their feet, and how they survive. Peeling back the canvas, Tumble Circus will show you the human side of the circus. No fanfare or sequins, quite simply the extraordinary skill and passion of two acrobats on a lifelong adventure.
