Won’t Be Told

A rebellious circus adventure that rages against the dying of the light!

ken and tina from tumble circus won't be told!

Annoying, talented, and stubbornly skilled, Ken and Tina from Tumble Circus present Won’t Be Told, a rebellious circus adventure that rages against the dying of the light. Their world is packed with wild acrobatics, absurd juggling, and hysterical comedy, all delivered with the fierce determination of performers who refuse to go quietly. This is circus with attitude, heart, and a glorious refusal to behave.

Won’t Be Told is presented by Age & Opportunity, as part of the Bealtaine Festival which has been running since 1995 and is one of the largest festivals of its kind in Europe. Taking place throughout the month of May, it brings together artists, organisations and communities across Ireland to explore ageing through performance, visual art, music and participatory events. The programme spans theatres, public spaces and community settings, with a focus on access, visibility and creative expression at every stage of life.

As part of the Bealtaine programme, Won’t Be Told will be performed in a wide range of settings, including public squares, arts venues and community-based locations. This approach brings the work directly into different environments and audiences, reflecting the festival’s wider aim of making art visible and accessible across everyday spaces.

All shows are free of charge but those marked ** require pre-booking due to limited capacity.
