The box office is now officially open for Winter Circus 2025, as Tumble Circus returns to Writers’ Square for its ninth year. Dates: 12th December 2025 – 4th January 2026. Winter Circus has become a fixture of Belfast’s Christmas calendar, with the Big Top once again taking its place in the heart of the Cathedral Quarter. Over the past nine years, audiences have grown up with the show. Families return year after year, and what started as a one-off visit has become part of the festive routine for many.
This year’s edition is an all-new production, a fast-paced, Belfast-made hour of aerial artistry, precision juggling and acrobatic mischief. The show runs for approximately 70 minutes, with no interval, and features unreserved seating in the round.
If you’re on the Tumble Circus mailing list, you’ll already have had access to tickets over the past couple of days. For 2025, there is also a new early bird offer. Visitors can get 10% off the first seven standard performances using the code CRAIC25 before Saturday 4th October. If you missed early access this year, it’s worth signing up to the mailing list ahead of next year, as subscribers receive first notification when the box office opens along with access to early booking offers.
A specially adapted relaxed performance will also take place during the run, welcoming people of all ages with additional sensory or communication needs. This performance operates a relaxed approach to movement and noise in the tent, with softened sound and lighting, additional space for wheelchairs and mobility scooters, and on-site accessible toilet and changing facilities. All tickets for this show are priced at £10.
