Won’t Be Told
A rebellious circus adventure that rages against the dying of the light!
Ken and Tina from Tumble Circus won’t be told ’it’s time to retire’.
Yes, they are older than your average circus acrobat, but they are also wiser, sharper, and far more dangerous. Thirty years of touring has carved them into two of the most skilled, inventive, and downright stubborn circus artists Ireland has ever produced.
These legends of contemporary Irish circus will blow your mind with class juggling, dead-on acrobatics, and flying hula hoops. They are funny, fearless, extraordinarily skilled, and internationally seasoned, award-winning performers with five-star reviews and a reputation for turning any space into a riot of joy.
’Won’t Be Told’ is a 35-minute outdoor, ground-based circus comedy show, mostly non-verbal, driven by a soundtrack of traditional and contemporary Irish music. Circus skills include: club juggling, partner acrobatics, slapstick, and hula
hoops.
The show answers the burning question: ’What does contemporary Irish circus look like?’ It looks like this — wild, skilled, hilarious, and gloriously uncooperative.
